Byron began to grow coffee with his father during the Nicaraguan Revolution in 1986. Although he studied at the agricultural university, where he is teaching only conventional farming, he has decided to go natural in the beginning of his farm career. At its 30-acre farm, it has built a stand-alone system with regard to long-term ecological sustainability by linking plant, animal and other local resources . For fertilization, nutrition and plant protection, it uses a wide range of its own processes and means from its own compost to a unique biological control of coffee growing.
Thanks to its personal approach to each coffee shop throughout the year, its coffee is ranked among the best of Nicaragua every year .
