What does the Francin roastery say about this coffee?
It's juicy, fruity, balanced and has a touch of oomph. Our favourite Tanzania Ngila has sold out, this year's harvest is unfortunately eh eh..not so great and so we have targeted elsewhere, or rather, we have narrowed our sights and looked at the bigger picture. So....region fits...we have Kenya, we have Ethiopia, we have Burundi, we have Rwanda..but we are running out! So we fired up the wire and had x samples sent in, which we roasted on our favourite Ikawa, all coffee tasted in blind testing (called. The winner was... tam da da daaáá Rwanda Karambi from our dear and great friend Anička Marková!!! or rather Sucafina, which this young and skilful lady represents. The new Rwanda Karambi is pleasantly fruity, sweet, smells and tastes mainly of oranges and who wouldn't like them, right...and again a great coffee that doesn't overflow, we love the return to simplicity, however we also have an understanding for all kinds of fermentations and infusions.
