This is another exciting natural coffee from Juan Saldarriaga. This coffee consists of Castillo and Caturra varieties with a taste reminiscent of fruit chews, mango and with a full body.

El Encanto is one of Juan's two farms and is also becoming his father's favourite farm, where he likes to retreat from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the beautiful views and tranquillity. It's an exceptional and well-maintained coffee farm and even has a colorful garden that shows off a huge variety of coffee plants.

Juan Saldarriaga is a young producer who took over the family farm in 2012 and started growing several different and new varieties, from the unusual Castillos, Caturras and Tabis to Bourbon, Geisha and SL28.

So far, he has been researching how each variety performs in the environment. In the future, he plans to increase production of the varieties that are doing well. Juan has built several different types of drying facilities, changed processing, and started managing several other farms in the area. We are particularly surprised by the effect of improved drying on his coffees. He dries many washed coffees in the shade and natural coffees in a specially designed mechanical "cold dryer".

In this coffee, sweet mango and dark chocolate harmonize with dried figs in the aftertaste.
