The functionality and craftsmanship of the Q2 grinder really shows that it was designed by engineers who are true coffee lovers. They have not neglected even the smallest detail. What can you look forward to in a grinder?
Grinding gear
The grinderis equipped with 38mm pentagonal conical stainless steel stones and a double bearing (at the crank connection and above the grinding stone), which ensures the stability of the stones and therefore a consistent grind.
Coarseness adjustment
The coarsenessis adjusted by a rotating disc below the grinding stone, allowing quick and easy adjustment. The scale is divided into 10 numbers, where each step has three more steps. In total, therefore, the grinder offers a total of 30 settings, which are very finely graduated, each step varying by 0.025 mm.
Cleaning
The unscrewing of the upper hopper and the lower container allows quick access and easy cleaning of the grinding stones. Even in this way , you will not lose your selected coarseness setting. The grinder can even be completely disassembled.
Materials
The1Zpressogrinderis made of high-quality materials. The inner parts and the handle are made of stainless steel, the body of the grinder of aluminium alloy. In addition, the handle grip is made of elegant-looking wood. The silicone finish on the body prevents the grinder from slipping in the hand.
Ground coffee container
The containermade of anodised aluminium has a capacity of 15-20 grams. It is screwed to the grinder with a precision thread. After tightening, the grinder looks like a one-piece.
Uses of the grinder:
The grinderfinds its application mainly in alternative preparations such as aeropress, moka pot, dripper, vacuum pot, chemex, frenchpress, cold brew.
Compactness and dimensions
The height of the grinder is 13.8 cm, diameter 4.6 cm and weight 385 grams. Its compactness makes it a great travel grinder that fits nicely in the palm of your hand, plus you can put it in the Aeropress.

The Stainless Steel heptagonal conical burrs ensure your grinder lasts for multiple uses all year round with increased effortless grinding over the previous Q2 model - the pentagonal.
