Coffee Story:

The farm Boa Vista do Hovo señora Sebastião Andrade de Miranda, is located in the town of Agaponga in the Matas de Minas region. Sebastião learned the practices involved in running a farm from his father, whom he helped to look after the farm from a young age. Today, his whole family is also involved in the farm. Despite the usual mechanisation of the processes on Brazilian farms, Sebastião handles much of his production manually, from planting the new harvests, to hand-picking and final processing of the cherries. Last but not least, the Matas de Minas region itself, which is predominantly mountainous, plays an important role and, together with the local climate, provides ideal conditions for growing fine coffees.

Technology:

The capsules are made from natural wood fibres combined with PLA, a lactic acid-based bioplastic. In other words, no aluminium, no fossil plastics, no microplastics. The wood fibers are obtained from residual sawdust from sustainably harvested forests (PECF certified). PLA, which is 100% organic-based, allows the wood fibers to be formed into coffee capsules.

The capsules have received DIN certification in the highest category with a test result of"100% organic" from renewable sources.

Our capsules are compatible with the most popular original NESPRESSO machines for private households.
